A Collection: May in Manila

Here I am, bringing a different side of Asia. One that I’ve become more familiar with and at times look back on with fondness. It’s always fascinating to walk down the streets of Binondo, especially in its old – almost decrepit- state. A lot of the shops have been there for decades, so it’s like being taken back in time. There’s nothing modern about the area, which is a vast contrast to other parts of Metro Manila. No matter how many times I walk down these streets, I’m always captivated by all these old, decaying buildings. There’s just something about aged structures – the aesthetic, the history – that really speak to me.
